Caerus Corp. has acquired OrthoCor Medical

OrthoCor Medical has been acquired by Caerus Corp., a developer, manufacturer and marketer of innovative medical devices for the veterinary market. This acquisition will expand business opportunities for OrthoCor into larger pain management markets while continuing to place patient care first. Each company will retain their independence as separate entities. OrthoCor Medical will maintain focus on improving patient recovery with the introduction of new PEMF devices for additional joints & other non-invasive pain management technologies. OrthoCor Medical has now relocated its headquarters to Arden Hills.


OrthoCor embracing the new ICD-10 System

CMS announced the transition of diagnostic and procedural codes from the ICD 9 to the ICD 10 system. In an effort to improve the medical classification system, the ICD-10 will add on an additional 54,000 codes to allow accurate diagnosis for patients. Providers, billers, and payers are all required to comply with the new changes, as of October 1st 2015. To ensure that there are no delays with processing our patient’s prescriptions, we have updated our Physician Written Order Guide to reflect the new ICD-10 coding. OrthoCor’s CEO Invited to Speak at DeviceTalks

OrthoCor’s CEO, John Dinusson, will be joining other MedTech leaders to discuss the landscape of the medical technology industry. DeviceTalks is hosted by MassDevice, a Business Journal publication.
